Estate find. Since I don't know very much about Fenton glass, this is what I found online:
This is a gorgeous vintage Fenton Cranberry Hand-Painted Wave Crest Puff (candy) Box. It features a distinctive "Wave Crest" design with slanted ribs in the glass mold. The box is hand-painted with a delicate floral pattern and accented with gold trim. This piece of art glass is a covered jar often used for holding powder or trinkets. Cranberry glass, known for its rich red color achieved with the addition of gold to the glass mixture. Approximate era, Fenton produced these types of items, particularly in the cranberry color, with many dating from the 1960s or as limited editions in the late 1980s.
It's pristine, no chips or cracks. It's approximately 4 1/2 inches tall (with top on). It's signed by the artist, sorry I can't read it, my eyes fail me, all I can see...siack?? It also says hand-painted by and the number 634/2000.
