Vintage Hand Painted Art ceramic Horse ashtray, signed by Sascha Brastoff. Amazing detail in this hand painted Horse, trimmed in Gold, as signed by the artist. Brastoff was born in Cleveland, Ohio and later relocated to California, where he became very well known and loved for his ceramic design and hand painted pieces. He was very prolific during the 50’s and 60’s. This was an incredible find, remaining in exceptional condition. tiny chips on corners, no scratches and a vibrant design. Signed on the front and clearly marked on the back. It measures 14" long X 5" wide. It is a deep teal color and the horse has brown, green, white and vibrant gold painting. This is just a gorgeous piece of artistry.
