If your tilt rod has holes drilled in it and if your louvers have a small notch cut in them then this is the improved repair part to fix your shutters. Do not pay $25+ a square foot to replace your shutters when you can repair your old ones for a fraction of the price. These will not repair your shutters if your shutters are Wooden or have Solid Louvers of any kind.
