[For Parts or Repair] MacBook Pro 2010 A1278

This item was stored in a closet for 10 years after it stopped turning on unless it was plugged in.

I found it while cleaning and it started up when plugged in, but it was stuck on the spinning wheel and wouldn't move. I repaired it in recovery mode and initialized it, reinstalling the OS.

The exterior shows signs of use and scratches, but the screen and keyboard are clean. There were no issues with the display or keyboard, but the battery is at 0%, so the screen will turn off unless the charging cable is constantly plugged in.

The power adapter is included, but the original box is not.

I initialized it and reinstalled the OS, but I don't know the Apple ID, so I'm not sure if it will function as a computer. I confirmed that the CD drive responds and an app launched.
